Charging starts when the called party picks up the phone and ends when either Xpedite’s equipment disconnects the call or when Xpedite’s equipment recognizes that the called party has hung up.
Pricing Examples (using prices from the first column)
- A 20 second announce-only call will cost 15 cents.
- A 30 second announce-only call will cost 18 cents.
- A 61 second announce-only call will cost 33 cents.
- A 60 second hotkey call in which the called party did NOT press the hotkey will cost 32 cents.
- A hotkey call with the following parameters:
a. The called party was on the line for a total of 3 minutes (32¢ x 3 = 96¢)
b. The called party spoke across the hotkey circuit for 2 minutes (32¢ x 2 = 64¢)
• Total for the call (a + b) is 96¢ + 64¢ = $1.60
- A data collection announcement (*press 1 for yes, 2 for no”) received responses to 14 questions on one call that lasted 4 minutes. The charge was 30¢ x 4 = $1.20 plus 25¢ data collection chrage for a total $1.45. (The single charge of 25¢ covers any number of questions.)
Note: In any month in which there is usage, there is a minimum invoice charge of $75. The $75 minimum charge does not apply to Fax2Mail-only accounts. All serves invoiced, including Fax2Mail, apply towards the $75 minimum charge.
